Richard R. Brown is a speculative fiction author who specializes in short stories, but is not ruling out an eventual novel. His debut collection of short stories, Holes In The Somewhere, was released April 1, 2026. He is visually-impaired and, therefore, is an advocate for the proliferation of audiobooks. He is currently working on an audio edition of Holes In The Somewhere, among other projects.

He and his Guide Dog reside in the Pacific Northwest.
