About Me

I am a writer, wife, mother and Business Analyst. And the founder of Silt Media Group.

I started writing with fanfics. I was somewhat devastated by the end of a Star Wars game and wanted to fix a sad story. So I did. Only it kept going and spiraled into a hobby that kept going well beyond that story. As the story grew, it became less and less about the core characters. Their sad end had been repaired and I started spawning other characters to carry the story along. I guess I learned here that sometimes a character’s story is best to end, even when you love them.

A sleepless night with a German Shepherd puppy landed me here, building a website and dreaming of ways to make this something more.

I started my first not fan-fic writing when I was in the mood for a particular type of story and couldn’t find it. As I worked, I realized that particular story was still under construction in my mind and needed more time to form. I pivoted to my next work, Peanut Butter and Chicken Nuggets. I wasn’t planning to publish anything at all. Never. This was still just a hobby and no one needed to know. I changed my mind during a hurricane and decided to give this my best shot.

Peanut Butter and Chicken Nuggets was completed in early 2026. I started querying literary agents but my heart wasn’t in it, so I decided to spend the time building this website. I’ll go back to querying when I’m ready.

So for now, I give you Silt Media and my dream to get good stories out into the world.
